Where to Find All Chess Pieces in Destiny 2

The community is still discovering new spots, so this guide will be updated as more pieces are found. Without further ado, here’s where to find all chess pieces in Destiny 2.

Dreadnaught Chess Pieces (29 Total)

The Dreadnaught is the main area where most chess pieces are hidden.

The Nether (24 pieces total)

• 7 pieces in The Founts
• 7 pieces in The Hall of Souls
• 5 pieces in The Trenchway
• 5 pieces in the Mausoleum

Court of Blades (5 pieces)

These are also on the Dreadnaught but in a different area called the Court of Blades.

Pieces Outside the Dreadnaught (11 Total)

Not all chess pieces are on the Dreadnaught. Some are scattered in other locations:

The Tower (3 pieces):

• Behind the Drifter
• Inside Zavala’s Office
• On the Hangar’s Ceiling

Eris Morn’s Apartment (4 pieces)

These are hidden inside Eris’s personal space.

• Europa (2 pieces): Exo Stranger’s Campsite and Clovis Bray
• EDZ (2 pieces): Winding Cove (Cliffs) and Sludge (Dark Forest)

Final Pieces (20 Total)

These are the trickiest to get and involve some special tasks:

• Path of Ambition: Collect 3 balls to get 3 pieces.
• Path of Resolve: Collect 3 balls to get 3 pieces.
• Nether Secrets: 9 pieces hidden in secret spots.
• Purchasable from Drifter: 5 pieces can be bought from the Drifter.
