To unlock it, just finish any Expedition—win or lose, it doesn’t matter. Once you’ve done that, you’ll be able to use the Journal to travel back in time and play through your character’s memories.
Step 2: Collect Memory Fragments
To progress in the Remembrance questline, you need Memory Fragments. You get these by finishing Expeditions. If you beat the Nightlord at the end of an Expedition, you’ll always get a Memory Fragment. Sometimes, even if you fail, you might get one, but that only works early in the questline. Later on, you’ll have to win to keep moving forward.
Once you have the Journal and some Memory Fragments, interact with the Journal at the Roundtable Hold. This lets you start the Remembrance. When you get close, a Stray Bloodhound Knight will invade. The fight is tough because the boss uses two Bleed weapons and the area is tight, with cliffs and rocks all around. Watch out for quick attacks from both hands. Be patient and time your moves.
After you beat the boss, pick up the flowers. The boss won’t drop any loot, just Runes. Once you have the flowers, finish the Expedition or leave—it doesn’t matter. Back at the Roundtable Hold, talk to the Priestess. She’ll tell you to give the flowers to Iron Menial.

This boss is slower than the Bloodhound Knight, but don’t get too close. Beat the boss, grab the Golden Sprout, and return to the Roundtable Hold.
Before giving the Golden Sprout to the Priestess, visit the Relic Rite to equip anything you need for the next fight. When you’re ready, talk to the Priestess. She’ll send you back in time for a final battle against the Executor’s nemesis—a copy of the Executor himself, with the same weapons you use.
Step 6: Finish the Executor’s Remembrance
After you win the fight against the Executor’s Cry, look for a glowing light in the air. Follow it to a small house and go inside to watch the final scene. This ends the Executor’s Remembrance questline.
When you return to the Roundtable Hold, you’ll get the Remembrance skin for the Executor. You can equip it at the Garb in the Hold. Interact with the conclusion spell to return to the present and get the Golden Sprout relic.
