What Is The Elden Ring Nightreign Shifting Earth?

The Elden Ring Nightreign Shifting Earth is a special event that happens after you defeat the first Nightlord in the Tricephalos expedition. When you beat a Nightlord, the map of Limveld changes for a limited time. These changes bring new areas, bosses, and rewards. After the time ends, Limveld goes back to normal.
There are several types of Elden Ring Nightreign Shifting Earth conditions, each with its own unique features and challenges.
The Crater
When this Shifting Earth appears, a huge crater shows up on the map. You can explore this crater and fight bosses inside it. The main boss here is the Magma Wyrm at the bottom of the crater.
Defeating the Magma Wyrm unlocks a special smithing table. This table lets you upgrade your weapons into legendary versions, making you much stronger.
The Mountaintop
This Shifting Earth adds a snowy mountain area to Limveld. To explore it, you need to reach the center of this cold region. The boss here is the Mountaintop Ice Dragon.
When you defeat this dragon, you get a reward called Dormant Power. This power helps reduce frostbite damage and buildup, which is very useful in cold areas.
The Rotted Woods
This version of Shifting Earth infects part of Limveld with Scarlet Rot, a dangerous status effect. To get the rewards here, you first explore a fort in the area.
Climb to the top of the fort’s tower and interact with the map. This reveals important locations, including where bosses are hiding.
The main reward is found by interacting with a red flower on a tree. This gives you a buff that lets you walk through Scarlet Rot without harm, increases your max health, and heals you a bit after taking damage.
The Noklateo

The main boss here is the Naturalborn of the Void. Defeating this boss removes a seal in the area. Inside the sealed location, you get a powerful reward that lets you stand back up once after nearly dying and boosts your strength for a short time.
