Game Science is set to take us to the next chapter of Chinese folklore with Zhong Kui in the Black Mythuniverse. The team behind the hit action RPG game has just announced their next big project at Gamescom Opening Night Live. After finishing the epic story of Sun Wukong, defeating the likes of Wandering Wight and the Rat Prince, players had been wondering if there would be Black Myth Wukong DLC in the near future.

Who is Zong Kui in Black Myth Wukong?
Just like Sun Wukong Black Myth Wukong, this new game is based on old Chinese stories and legends. This time, the main character is Zhong Kui, a famous figure in Chinese folklore. Zhong Kui is known as the “ghost-catching god.” He travels between Hell and Earth, hunting down evil spirits and keeping the world safe.
What Kind of Game Will It Be?
Zhong Kui in Black Myth Wukong will be an action RPG. This means you can expect fast-paced fighting, cool moves, and a big world to explore. The developers say the game will use the same style and ideas as Wukong, but with a new hero and new stories.
When Can We Play Black Myth Zhong Kui?
Here’s the catch: Game Science hasn’t given a release date for Black Myth Zhong Kui yet. In their FAQ, they said they just wanted to show fans what they’re working on, as they do every August. So, we’ll have to wait a bit longer for more news about when the game will be ready.
What Platforms Will It Be On?
We do know that Zhong Kui in Black Myth Wukong will come out on PC. Game Science also said it will be available on “all mainstream console platforms.” That means PlayStation, Xbox, and maybe more. But, just like with Black Myth Wukong, the release might not happen on all platforms at the same time.
