One of the best Black Ops 7 weapons is the BO7 Necrofluid Gauntlet in the Ashes of the Damned map. Just like the Vandorn Farm map, the new map has a variety of new weapons worth trying. This new Ashes of the Damned wonder weapon packs infinite ammo and carries the flair of a Dark Aether artifact. It isn’t quite the Marvel-level superweapon the name implies, but it’s strong enough to be worth the effort, at least for some players.
If you want to craft the BO7 Necrofluid Gauntlet, you’ll need to fight a returning foe, escort a fragile canister, and decode a puzzle from mid-air. Here’s the full step-by-step guide.
How to Build the BO7 Necrofluid Gauntlet

To build the BO7 Necrofluid Gauntlet, you must complete a multi-stage quest. It involves killing Uber Klaus, activating Friendly Klaus, collecting the Dark Aether canister, filling it with Aether energy, and solving the final cube puzzle. Each step matters, so follow the order below.
Kill Uber Klaus

Starting from Round 8, head to Janus Tower Plaza. Prepare for a serious fight. The boss you’re looking for is the Uber Klaus from BO6’s Reckoning map, and he may not spawn immediately. If he’s missing, survive a few rounds in the area until he appears.
Once Uber Klaus arrives, eliminate him quickly. He drops an essential item, the UBER Klaus chip. Pick it up before moving on.
Find Friendly Klaus

Next, travel to Ashwood. Use the zipline near the garage, then open the first door on your left. This leads to Sherif’s Office, where a deactivated version of Friendly Klaus sits strapped to a chair inside a cell.
Throw three or four Stun Grenades at him to power him up. Once revived, you can command him using L1/LT.
Get the Canister

Your next destination is Zarya Cosmodrome, also known as Ascension. Move to the room beneath the rocket. You’ll find a damaged switch sitting beside a scanner.
Command Klaus to repair the switch. Then interact with the panel to start the scanning sequence.
This part is chaotic. Dozens of zombies will attack, and you must stand in the red-lit zone for the scan to complete. Keep Klaus close, and use Kazimir grenades to control the undead.
If Klaus dies, don’t panic. You can purchase a replacement from radio stations around the map, including one right above the scanner room.
After the scan finishes, pick up the Aether canister next to the switch.
Fill the Canister With Dark Aether Energy

You cannot sprint while carrying the canister, so keep at least one zombie alive and begin your journey.
You must charge the canister at three Aether machines:
- Blackwater Lake
- Ashwood Bridge
- Vandron Farm
Start with Blackwater Lake. Insert the canister and wait a few seconds for it to fill. Pick it up when complete.
Next, go to the Ashwood Bridge. Insert the canister again. However, be careful—this stage adds a timer, and failing to deliver it to the final machine in time forces a full restart.
Finally, reach Vandron Farm. The machine sits in an open field and is easy to spot. Insert the canister one last time.
Once all three charges are complete, head into the Vandorn Farm basement and interact with the glowing cube. This activates the final step.
Solve the Cube Puzzle

The cube shows three rotating symbols and an eye button that activates the puzzle. You must match the symbols to the correct sequence.
To find the code, use the launch pad in Farm and soar toward Janus Tower Plaza. While airborne, look down at the rooftops of Vandorn Farm. You’ll see three glowing signs that reveal the correct symbol order.
Write them down.
Return to the cube, dial in the symbols, and then interact with the cube’s eye to begin a brief lockdown event.
Glowing green spores will appear on the walls. Shoot them using R2/RT, then call the shots back with Square/X to detonate the spores.
Complete this phase, and the puzzle ends, rewarding you with the Necrofluid Gauntlet, the official Ashes of the Damned wonder weapon. And that’s how to get the BO7 Necrofluid Gauntlet. For more Black Ops 7 content, stay posted to RetroNoob.
