Everything You Need to Know About Call to Arms in Destiny 2

Much like the Heavy Metal Event, the latest TWID, or “This Week in Destiny,” is the Call to Arms in Destiny 2.  Climbing to peak Power in Destiny 2 always takes time, but the Call to Arms event makes the grind far easier. If you missed the latest TWID or you’re returning after a break, this limited-time Destiny 2 event gives players a quick way to stack loot, earn seasonal gear, and prep for what’s coming next. The best part? The requirements are simple, and the activities support PvE fans, PvP fans, and players who enjoy both.

In this guide, we’ll explain exactly how to participate in Call to Arms in Destiny 2, along with every weapon and reward you can unlock.

How to Start the Call to Arms in Destiny 2

You can begin the call to arms event through the Portal UI found in The Edge of Fate or simply visit the Tower. The Tower method is faster because you need to stop there for the quest anyway.

After launching the event, your first objective is straightforward: Attune your Guardian to one of the seven Call to Arms weapons. Once attuned, jump into a few event activities. Completing them gives you a chance to earn the weapon, whether it’s a bow, sword, pistol, or launcher.

Call to Arms Event Activities

These activities award Call to Arms Weapon Engrams, which are your primary source of themed loot:

  • Cutting Edge: Zone Control (PvP)
  • The Salt Mines (PvE)
  • The Coil (PvE)
  • Proving Grounds (PvE)

When you start the call to arms event, only the first two are accessible. The remaining two unlock once you complete the main quest.
