Aside from Leon Strohl, Alonzo is another follower you can recruit in Studio Zero’s RPG. But this flashy character wants to recover a stolen item from the Abandoned Tomb in Metaphor: ReFantazio. Unlike Dark and Darker with its portals, Abandoned Tomb is a tricky dungeon filled with mimics. Exploring the tomb can help you unlock the Faker Lineage. The main enemies in the Abandoned Tomb in Metaphor: ReFantazio are mimic chests. These creatures look like regular treasure chests, tempting you to open them. Be cautious, as you must defeat them to claim the treasure. They are weak to Light magic, but you can also distract them with the gold attack from the Merchant Archetype.
Since it’s a tomb, you’ll also find undead monsters here. You can challenge a Kadablich, a mini-boss usually accompanied by two undead monsters. Another enemy is the Red Elementa, which will try to escape but can be defeated with Ice magic.

Best Team Composition
When exploring the Abandoned Tomb, it’s best to bring a Healer for their Light magic. A Brawler is also useful since Noble Malmorta enemies are weak to Strike attacks. To handle Imitec monsters more easily, include a Merchant Archetype, but remember that the gold attack costs 500 gold.

How To Explore the Abandoned Tomb
The Abandoned Tomb in Metaphor: ReFantazio is complex, with multiple floors and crawl spaces. Look for large holes to access different areas.
Undead monsters can be annoying as they hide behind pillars, but Imitec won’t attack unless you open the wrong chest. Safe chests are on pedestals, while those on the ground are likely monsters.
Your main target is the Trove Imitec, which appears as a large treasure chest. Defeating this mini-boss gives you a key to unlock a big door near the dungeon entrance. Inside, you’ll find Malveno’s Ring, which you can give to Alonzo.
