All The Best Pinecone Locations in Genshin Impact

We’ve already established that there are no stores in Teyvat where you can get carrots, farm Spinel Fruits, or pinecones. There are very specific pinecone locations in Genshin Impact. But why do you need pinecones? Well, pinecones are useful items that can be cooked with other ingredients to make meals that boost health and other stats. They can also be traded with characters for Reputation Quests and events like Marvelous Merchandise.

Here’s a guide on the different pinecone locations in Genshin Impact, including the best spots to gather them quickly.

The best place to find pinecones in Genshin Impact is Mondstadt. This region is known for recipes that use pinecones. You can spot pinecones sparkling on the ground beneath trees in several locations, such as:

  • Wolvendom
  • Springvale
  • Whispering Woods

Pinecones you collect will refresh every day, so you can return to these spots regularly.

Best Places to Find Pinecones in Genshin Impact

If you only need a few pinecones for a quest or to trade during a Marvelous Merchandise event, there are two quick spots you should visit:

  • Cliff West of Midsummer Courtyard Domain: If you have unlocked the Midsummer Courtyard Domain, fast-travel to it (located east of Starfell Lake). Look for sparkles under the trees along the western cliff nearby. You can find seven or eight pinecones in this area.

  • Cliffs Around Favonius Cathedral in Mondstadt City: If you can’t fast travel to the Midsummer Courtyard Domain, head to the cliffs around the Favonius Cathedral in the northwest of Mondstadt City. Search under the trees here, and you’ll quickly find six or seven pinecones.
