Skills

Skills in Dark and Darker are core abilities unique to each class. You can select two of the following skills to suit your preferred playstyle:

  • Adrenaline Rush: Gain 15% action speed for 8 seconds, but lose 8% action speed and 4% move speed for 2 seconds afterward.
  • Breakthrough: Removes move speed debuffs and ignores new debuffs for 8 seconds.
  • Perfect Block: Gain 5 impact resistance for 6 seconds.
  • Second Wind: Recover 40% of your maximum health over 12 seconds and remove the negative effects of Adrenaline Rush.
  • Shield Slam: Inflict 25 physical damage and reduce the target’s move speed by 20% for 2 seconds.
  • Sprint: Gain 3 stacks of Momentum, each giving 15 additional move speed. Lose 1 stack every 2 seconds.

Weapons

The Fighter can use almost any weapon in the game thanks to the Weapon Mastery perk. We suggest starting with an Arming Sword and Shield or Longsword for melee combat, and a Bow for ranged attacks.

Different stats have various benefits. We recommend prioritizing the following stats on gear:

  • +All Attributes: Provides extra stat points in every attribute.
  • Physical Damage Reduction: Makes the Fighter more durable.
  • Movement Speed: Enhances mobility.
