DOOM The Dark Ages Chapter 2 Secrets

Secret 1: Breakable Door in First Room (Life Sigil)

As soon as you enter the first indoor room, look to your left. There’s a metal door next to some crates. Use your Shield Charge to smash it open. Inside, clear out the cultists and follow the path to grab your first Life Sigil. This one is easy to miss if you’re in a rush.

Secret 2: Hidden Hole in the Wall (Imp Stalker Toy)

After the first secret, go to the next room and head up two sets of stairs. At the top, don’t go left like the main path suggests. Instead, turn right and look for a hole in the wall above some crates. Climb up and drop into the secret area to find the Imp Stalker Toy. There’s also a superheated metal door here you can break with your Shield Saw throw, which leads you back to the stairs.

Bonus 1: “Hebeth” Codex

This isn’t counted as a main secret, but it’s easy to miss. After the first two secrets, cross the upper bridge and drop into the next room. You’ll see a superheated metal door. Turn around and jump over the crates opposite this door. Around the corner, you’ll find the “Hebeth” Codex entry.

Secret 3: Climbable Wall Beside Statue (5x Gold)

Near the Sentinel Shrine, go through the door and turn right. You’ll see a big statue and a doorway with a red barrier. Look above the barrier for a climbable wall. Climb up to find a vent shaft with 5x Gold and a Stone Imp.

Secret 4: Breakable Door Beyond Blue Forcefield (5x Gold)

Keep following the path past the Sentinel Shrine until you reach a room with Stone Imps and a big blue forcefield. Go through the hole in the wall where the Imps came from. On your left, there’s a breakable door. Use your Shield Charge to open it and grab another 5x Gold.

Secret 5: Breakable Wall Past Blue Keycard Door (Life Sigil, 5x Gold)

After you get through the Blue Keycard door, drop down the hole and clear the room. In the next room, turn left at the big helmet hologram. There’s a vent shaft you can break through with your Shield Charge. Inside, you’ll find a Life Sigil and 5x Gold. There’s also another breakable exit that takes you back to the first room.

Secret 6: Door Blocked by Flames (Life Sigil, 9x Gold)

This one is tricky. After you leave the facility and see the Titan fighting the Atlan, look for a door covered in flames. To turn off the fire, look up at the left wall for a superheated metal door. Break it with your Shield Saw throw, climb up, and drop down to a lower level. There’s a valve by a hole in the wall—turn it to stop the flames. Go through the now-safe door to find 9x Gold, a Life Sigil, and a tough demon fight.

Secret 7: Door by Encounter Near Titan (8x Gold)

In the same outside area with the Titan and the flaming door, there’s a door on the left side of the arena. Defeat all the demons in the area to unlock it. Inside, you’ll find 8x Gold.

Secret 8: Hole in Wall by 2nd Sentinel Shrine (50x Gold)

After the “Point Of No Return,” you’ll enter a room with a Green Flesh Node and a second Sentinel Shrine. Use the Shield Recall Jump to cross the gap. Then, go through the hole in the wall next to the window. Follow the path to an upper vent shaft. At the end, melee the crate to get a huge 50x Gold.

Secret 9: Vent Near Green Flesh Node (“Nightmare” Skin, 8x Gold)

Still in the Green Flesh Node room, use the node to jump to the platform with the Sentinel Shrine. Climb the wall next to the Shrine, then turn left and climb the stacked crates. At the top, hop into a vent shaft. Inside, you’ll find 8x Gold. At the end, drop down to get the “Nightmare” Skin for your Shredder. Be ready—a fight starts as soon as you land.
