How to Complete the Tower of Transcendence in DQ3

The Tower of Transcendence in DQ3 Remake features several teleportation circles. If you enter the portal near the entrance, you’ll find yourself in a room with an old man, but there’s nothing of interest here, so it’s best to skip it.

Steps to Navigate the Tower:

Southwestern Stairs: Start by climbing the southwestern stairs to encounter a Catula monster. On the third floor, you’ll find a chest containing a Dieamend, which protects its holder from a deadly strike once.
Northwestern Stairs: To continue upward, use the northwestern stairs. After crossing a tightrope, you’ll reach a portal leading to three staircases on the first floor. The north and south stairs lead to dead ends with treasure chests, while the center staircase allows you to continue upward.
Second Tightrope: Keep climbing until you find a second tightrope with a red flag in the middle. Continue upward to find another treasure chest on the highest floor containing a Hermes Hat. After collecting it, return to the tightrope.
Jump Down: Jump down from the tightrope to land in a new area. After jumping through a hole in the roof, head down to the second floor. On the eastern side, you’ll find a treasure chest with the Words of Wisdom, which is essential for turning a party member into a Sage class.
