Kangaroos in Animal Well are pesky creatures players need to hunt down in developers Shared Memory’s popular Metroidvania. Why? Because these kangaroos drop K-Shards whenever you throw a firecracker. These shards are valuable items in the game, but you need to gather three of them to utilize the shards. That means you’ll have to hunt down these roos multiple times. Luckily, you’ve come to the right place to get the Animal Well kangaroo locations.

Kangaroos in Animal Well – Where to Find Them
These roos can pop up in five different spots marked on the map above, and it’s your job to hop from one to the next to collect those precious K-Shards. But before you go bounding off, make sure you unlock fast travel in Animal Well. It’ll save you a heap of time and energy.
Here’s the lowdown on those spots and how to zip on over to ’em using fast travel:
Animal Well Kangaroo Locations
Location 1: This room’s got a couple of dogs standing tall on their hind legs. To reach it quickly, use the bear head in the fast travel room and head one screen down and one screen to the right.
Location 2: You’ll find this room right below the Egg room.
Location 3: Look for a mallard in this room, just one screen to the right of the boss statue room.
Location 4: This room’s tucked away in the starting area. Use the squirrel head in the fast travel room, then trek two screens to the right, two screens up, and one more screen to the right.
Location 5: Head one screen to the right of the frog head on the path to Animal Well‘s Ostrich boss to find this room. Use the frog head in the fast travel room to zip over there.
Remember to scoop up that K-Shard the kangaroo drops before you go running to find the next one. Because, if left around, these shards might just vanish.
