How to Find Lingonberry in Grounded 2: Explained

Bugs in this survival RPG by Xbox Game Studios can be dangerous, which is why you need Lingonberry in Grounded 2. Similar to the Flour Sand in Dune, this red berry is key for making armor and gear, specifically Lingonberry Leather. While Grounded 2 encourages you to find Lingonberry Leather, it doesn’t give you clear hints about its location or where to begin your search.

Here’s our guide on how to find Lingonberry in Grounded 2 and show you how to turn those berries into leather.

To find the Lingonberry in Grounded 2, head to the western edge of the map. The Lingonberry location in Grounded 2 is just north of the Snackbar. Look for red berries growing on bushes at the edge of the map. Some berries are low enough to reach by jumping, but others are higher up. For those, you’ll need a bow and arrow to shoot them down.

Once you’ve knocked the berries down, use the Omni-Axe level II or better to chop them up and collect Lingonberry Chunks. It’s a good idea to gather several chunks, since you’ll need a few to make each piece of leather.

There are two ways to make Lingonberry Leather in Grounded 2:

Workbench Method

Place three Lingonberry Chunks in the workbench to get one piece of leather. This is fast, but you use up more berries. Here’s what you need:

3 Grass planks

4 Sprigs

2 Sap

Once you have a workbench, go to the resource section. You’ll see the option to craft Lingonberry Leather. It takes three Lingonberry Chunks to make one piece of leather.

Jerky Rack Method

Hang Lingonberry Chunks on a Jerky Rack. It takes a few in-game hours, but you get one leather for each chunk, so it’s more efficient. The rack can only hold three chunks at a time.

Before you can craft, make sure you analyze the Lingonberry Chunks at a research station. This unlocks the recipe for Lingonberry Leather.
