How to Get God Mode in GTA Online
Currently, there are three ways you can enter God Mode in GTA Online. Whether you’re looking to tackle tough Heists or just want to experiment, these God Mode methods can give you a temporary boost in GTA Online.
GTA Online Apartment God Mode
This method is a bit tricky and requires two consoles to perform the “[BEFF] Double Garage” cheat first. The cheat involves turning off the internet on one console and buying a garage, then doing the same on the second console.
If you manage to pull off the cheat, you can follow the steps below:
- Drive your car into the garage of your apartment.
- After the parking cutscene ends, and the car engine shuts off, leave and look for a new session.
- Once in the new session, press Pause and start a Survival Job.
- Wait for the job to start, then exit quickly using the Phone menu or by leaving the Survival circle for 30 seconds.
- You will be kicked into a new session. Pull up your phone and use the “Quick Join” option to join a Heist.
- Select “Quick Join” > “Heist” > “Join Lobby.”
- When loading into the Heist screen, a black error alert will appear. Cancel the alert.
- You will be teleported back to your apartment. If you can access your weapon wheel, you are in God Mode.
This method may not work on PC and seems to be more effective on PlayStation and Xbox. It can also be complicated, so watching a video guide could be helpful. Sometimes, after getting invincibility, you might not be able to move your car. If that happens, ask a friend with a Cargobob to help.
Destroyed Toreador with Invincibility in GTA Online
This method only makes your Toreador car invincible, but your character can still take damage. Also, since the car is marked as “destroyed,” you won’t be able to get back inside after using it.
- Drive your Toreador to a location with water, like the Del Perro Pier beach.
- Get out of the car.
- Open the Interaction Menu > Select Vehicles > Doors > Front Left and open the driver’s door.
- Use the Up-n-Atomizer to shoot the car door off.
- Get back in the car and reverse into the water.
- When the message “This vehicle has been destroyed” pops up, quickly drive out of the water.
- Call Mors Mutual Insurance while still inside the “destroyed” car to retrieve it.
If you find another Toreador at the depot, then the God Mode trick worked, making your vehicle invincible.
God Mode Through Agency Job in GTA Online
This God Mode method works only on PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X. To perform this glitch, you need to have unlocked the Agency and bookmark certain jobs.
- For PlayStation players, bookmark this job: PSN God Mode Job
- For Xbox players, bookmark this job: Xbox God Mode Job
- If you are on Xbox Series X or PlayStation 5, change the graphics settings to Fidelity.
- If the game freezes, it means the job screen loaded too slowly.
