Just like the Spinosaurus and the Raptor in the Prehistoric update, the Brontosaurus in Grow a Garden is another popular dinosaur pet to have in your collection. This dinosaur is a Mythical rarity pet, which means it’s very rare and special. The Brontosaurus Grow a Garden pet can make your other pets bigger and heavier when you hatch them from eggs. This makes your pets more valuable and can even boost their stats a little.
Here’s a simple guide on how to get the Brontosaurus in Grow a Garden and what it does.
How to Get the Brontosaurus in Grow a Garden
To get the Brontosaurus in Grow a Garden, you need to hatch a dinosaur egg. This is the same way you get the T-Rex in the game. Once you have a dinosaur egg, you have to wait about four hours for it to hatch. There is only a 1% chance that the egg will give you a Brontosaurus, so it might take a few tries.
Luckily, getting dinosaur eggs in Grow a Garden is not too hard. There are two main ways to get them: by trading regular pets or by completing Dino Quests.
Completing Dino Quest
First, go to the Prehistoric Quest stall. Talk to Blaire by pressing the “E” button on your keyboard. Then, click on “Show me the Quest” to see the list of quests. Complete any quest that gives a dinosaur egg as a reward. When you finish, go back to Blaire and claim your egg.
Trading Regular Pets
Go to the Dinosaur Egg stall. Equip any pet you have, except for dinosaurs. Talk to the NPC named Graham by pressing “E.” Click on “Take this Pet” to sell your pet. Graham will put your pet in the DNA Machine. After one hour, the machine will give you two or three dinosaur eggs. Sometimes, you might even get a dino pet instead of eggs.
Brontosaurus’s Special Ability

The Brontosaurus in Grow a Garden has a special ability. When you have this pet, it increases the size and weight of any pet you hatch from eggs by 5%. But there is a limit: the size boost can only go up to 30%, even if you have more than one Brontosaurus. Also, the Brontosaurus itself does not get this size and weight boost.
