Starting the Vitali House Puzzle in Hell Is Us

You’ll first run into this challenge after finding Victor in the tunnel of Jova, inside the Acasa region. He tells you to return to Hell Is Us Vitalis’ house—the one with the Blacksmith sign near a blue swing. Once inside, you need to investigate and solve the door puzzle to keep moving forward in the story.

When you interact with the basement door, you’ll see that it needs a six-digit code. The answer is tied to three family photos placed around the house. The order of the photos is marked on the walls, so you know which sequence to follow:

• Vitalis and his wife
• Vitalis’ wife and their child
• The child with a car

Each car in the pictures holds the clue.

• The first car (left to right) shows the number 32
• The second car shows the number 17
• The third car doesn’t display a number, but you’ll find the green car in the basement with 13 written on it
• Put these numbers together, and the full code is 32-17-13. Enter it into the door panel, and the basement opens.

Opening the puzzle door rewards you with valuable items and pushes the story forward. Inside, you’ll find:

• Lymbic Rod – Grief W (used in the chest inside Vitalis’ house)
• Glyphs: Perfect Guard (Neutral), Lingering Pain (Grief), Rage Spike (Rage), Delirium (Ecstasy), Frightful Ambush (Terror)
• Lymbic Greatsword (new weapon)
• Vigil Note (unlocks the third zone and continues the main story)

After collecting these, go back and open the Lymbic Chest with the new rod. You’ll also find another rod behind the red toolbox near the Blacksmith, which you can use to upgrade your weapons. With everything secured, you’re ready to move into the third zone.
