Posted on X (previously twitter), Marvel Rivals has announced that the game is about to go into its closed beta phase with people getting access near the end of July. The closed beta, lasting for almost two weeks, will let players choose from 21 different characters. Here are the finer details about Marvel’s superhero shooter:
Marvel Rivals Closed Beta Release Date
The window for the closed beta is 13 days long and it will lasting from 23rd of July, 22:00 UTC till 5th of August at 7:00 UTC. It will be available in the three major regions; North America, Asia, and Europe. Following the release of the closed beta, there will some events, tournaments and more that have been planned along with live streams for extra invite codes, similar to the alpha phase.
The Character Lineup, Game modes, And Maps
The game modes currently listed for Marvel Rivals are Domination, Convergence, and Convoy, with the maps being Yggsgard: Yggdrasill Path, Yggsgard: Royal Palace, Tokyo 2099: Shin-Shibuya, and Tokyo 2099: Spider-Islands. Additionally, the characters that will be available at release are as follows:

To get into the beta on PC, players just need to go the steam page of Marvel Rivals and once the closed beta starts, and click the “request access” option. However, players on console will need to answer a questionnaire and keep a lookout for an email confirming their slot for the closed beta.
