Roblox Grow a Garden: How the Bee Swarm Event Works
The event starts every hour and lasts for 10 minutes. When it begins, bees fly out of the hive next to the Bee Queen in the center of the map. These bees swarm your farm and can give your crops the Pollinated Mutation. When a crop gets pollinated, you’ll see a message and the crop will glow yellow for a few seconds. Pollinated crops are worth three times more when you sell them.
How to Farm Honey in Roblox Grow a Garden
- Honey is the special event currency. Here’s how to get it:
- Wait for your crops to get the Pollinated Mutation during the Bee Swarm event.
- Take your Pollinated crops to the Honey Combpressor next to the Queen Bee.
- Equip your Pollinated crops and press E to deposit them. You need at least 10kg of Pollinated crops to fill the Combpressor.
- Wait 3 minutes for the machine to process, then collect 10 Honey.
Big crops like Bamboo, Watermelon, Pumpkin, Moon Melon, Pink Lily, Cactus, and Beanstalk fill the Combpressor faster. Sell small crops before the event so bees focus on pollinating your big crops. You must be online for your crops to get pollinated—if you’re offline, nothing happens.
Bee in Grow a Garden: Bee Pets and Their Abilities
You can get Bee pets by buying a Bee Egg for 18 Honey. Each Bee in Grow a Garden has a special ability to help pollinate your crops, even outside the event:
- Bee: 65% chance from Bee Egg. Pollinates a random plant every 24:45 minutes.
- Honey Bee: 25% chance. Pollinates a random plant every 20 minutes.
- Bear Bee: 5% chance. Honey Glazes a random plant (x5 value) every 25 minutes.
- Petal Bee: 4% chance. Pollinates a random plant every 24:46 minutes and gives flowers a small chance to stay after harvest.
- Queen Bee: 1% chance. Pollinates a random plant every 25 minutes and refreshes a random pet’s ability every 30 minutes.
Remember, the Honey Combpressor only takes 10kg of Pollinated crops per use. Any extra is lost, so plan your deposits.

New crops from the event include Rose, Foxglove, Lilac, Pink Lily, Purple Dahlia, Sunflower, Nectarine, and Hive Plant. Sunflower is the most valuable but rare and slow to grow. Purple Dahlia is a good pick for steady income. Hive Plant can spawn extra bees when pollinated, which helps your whole farm.
