Besides the Lingonberry in this survival RPG, Milkweed in Grounded 2 is another item you can use to build or craft new gear. Even though milkweed isn’t the rarest thing in the game, it is still much harder to find then the briefcase codes. Milkweed is a tall, yellow plant with pods growing on its stem. When you break open these pods, you get milkweed chunks and sometimes milkweed tufts. You’ll need both for different things: milkweed chunks are mostly used for building, while milkweed tufts are used in a few special recipes and for making some of the best armor in the game.
Here’s everything you need to know about Milkweed in Grounded 2, including where to find milkweed tufts and milkweed chunks, so you can stop running in circles and start building.
Where to Find Milkweed in Grounded 2

Before you go hunting for Milkweed, make sure you have the Omni-Axe II. You can’t harvest milkweed tufts or chunks without it. You’ll also want a bow, because most milkweed pods are out of reach and need to be shot down before you can collect them.
Best Milkweed Grounded 2 Locations

The best place to find Milkweed in Grounded 2 is near the rope fence that sits between the Snackbar Front and Picnic Table areas. If you look along the border, you’ll spot about six milkweed plants. They’re easy to see because they’re tall and yellow, and the pods are pretty big.
Most of these milkweed plants are on a hill. When you shoot the pods down with your bow, they might roll down the slope, so keep an eye on where they land. Once you’ve knocked the pods down, use your Omni-Axe II to chop them up. Each pod gives you a few milkweed chunks and sometimes one or two tufts.
What to Do With Milkweed Chunks and Tufts

You’ll use milkweed chunks mostly for building. They’re great for making thatch pieces, which are strong and look really nice if you want your base to stand out. If you want a cool thatched house, you’ll need to collect a lot of milkweed chunks.
Milkweed tufts are a bit more special. Early in the game, you’ll want them for insulation, since they help keep you warm when you’re tiny. They’re needed for the Fuzzy Parka, which is one of the best armor chest pieces in Grounded 2. You’ll also need tufts for making landing pads and some plush toys.
