While he gives you some hints about where to plant the Night Thorns, he doesn’t tell you exactly where to put them. 1. Giant Dreamlight Valley Tree
Scar mentions a giant tree, but with so many trees around, it can be confusing to know which one he means. To plant the first 5 Night Thorn Seeds, look for a large tree with overgrown roots and vines. You’ll notice some sparkles falling near this tree, which is your clue that you’re in the right place.
2. Pillar of Nurturing
The next set of seeds should be planted near the Pillar of Nurturing, which is where all of this began. This Pillar is easy to spot because it has a purple orb and is surrounded by a tree. There’s also a small pond shaped like a circle behind it. Plant 5 seeds around this Pillar and water them. Once they’ve grown, you’ll be one step closer to completing the quest.
3. Mine Entrance in Dreamlight Valley
The last 5 Night Thorn Seeds need to be planted near the entrance to the mines in the Sunlit Plateau. The mines are located right next to the wooden bridge. You should plant the seeds to the left of the waterfall near the mine entrance and tend to them as needed.
Once all the Night Thorn Seeds are fully grown, return to the Pillar of Nurturing in Disney Dreamlight Valley. Interact with the Orb of Nurturing to reactivate it. After that, head to Scar’s cave to speak with him. However, you’ll find that the lion is locked in his cave.
