Capcom’s Dragon’s Dogma 2, a love child of Monster Hunter and Dark Souls, recently got its release date revealed. The Monster Souls title (yes I just made that up) is set to release next year on March 22 and Capcom has already revealed its pricing and pre-order bonuses.
Here is what you can get for pre-ordering Dragon’s Dogma 2.
Dragon’s Dogma 2 Pre-Order Guide
Dragon’s Dogma 2 will be available on PC, Xbox, and PlayStation upon release in two different versions, the Standard Edition, and the Deluxe Edition. The Standard Edition will cost $69.99, while the Deluxe Edition will go for $79.99 on all platforms globally. As always, PC gamers will benefit from Steam’s regional pricing with as low as $49.99 (Standard) and $56.99 (Deluxe) in the Turkish region.
Pre-ordering the standard version will get you the Superior Weapons Quartet, which is essentially a set of special weapons for each character class. This includes a sword and shield for the knight, a pair of daggers for the assassin, a staff for the mage, and a bow and arrow set for the archer.
Meanwhile, pre-ordering the Deluxe Edition will also get you the Ring of Assurance on top of the Superior Weapons Quartet, a valuable inventory item that buffs your in-game stats.
For more details, head on over to Dragon’s Dogma 2’s official website, which tell you almost everything there is to know about the game before buying it. This not only includes the game’s main trailer, but also explains how the game’s system and action works, the game’s world, the monsters you’ll fight, the many story characters you will come across, and various videos that put it all together.
More recently, Capcom has also announced a Devil May Cry anime for Netflix, scheduled to release on 2024, and an update for Street Fighter 6, though that was a few months back.
