Dambuster Studios’ Dead Island 2 is enjoying record sales on Steam. One of which is the Primed Crowbar, a brutal weapon that is part of a side mission called Jo’s Rainy Day Stash. Here’s a quick guide on how to complete Jo’s Rainy Day Stash in Dead Island 2.
How to Complete Jo’s Rainy Day Stash in Dead Island 2
First things first, players must head to Venice Beach in Dead Island 2‘s main campaign. There, they’ll encounter “Jo’s Rentals,” marked by a shark statue. Breaking the window and obtaining the journal titled “Jo’s Secret Stash” triggers the quest. You should be cautious, as breaking the window sets off an alarm which will result in a lot of uninvited guests.
Learn a Little About Good Ol’ Jo
The quest unfolds across multiple steps, revealing Jo’s story and leading players to valuable rewards. In Jo’s Surf & Skate Rentals, players find a smartphone and another journal entry, “Jo’s Beloved Baby,” hinting at a red pickup truck. This truck, located southeast of the Blue Crab Grill, initiates a battle against Jo’s Shambling Body and other zombies.
After defeating the enemies with your sharp or blunt object of choice, looting Jo’s phone unveils the final journal entry, “Jo’s Final Farewell,” and marks a treasure chest on the map. The chest is located atop Marla’s Tapas and Tacos, accessible by climbing pallets. Beware of enemies and a tripwire trap on the rooftop.
What’s in Jo’s Rainy Day Stash?
Upon opening the stash, players earn 2,000 XP and the Primed Crowbar, a superior melee weapon. This crowbar, classified as a maiming weapon, boasts the Primed perk, enhancing the recharge rate of the player’s active curveball item after killing zombies. If Primed Crowbar isn’t your fix, you try the Black Magic baseball bat, which is also a very sick weapon worth swinging.
Dead Island 2 is available on PC, PS4, PS5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X/S.
