Finding the Remote, Bouncy Ball, and UV Lantern to Unlock the Circular Recess in Animal Well

Unlocking the Remote (Using the S Medal)

After defeating the Chameleon boss, you can revisit the chamber where you first encountered it. You can access the left side of the area to discover a chest containing the S Medal. Placing the S Medal in the circular recess beneath the animal statues will unveil a new pathway leading to the right, ultimately leading to an area containing the Remote.

Unlocking the Bouncy Ball (Using the K Medal)

Throughout your journey, you will encounter a large Kangaroo. Using a firecracker whenever you encounter it will cause the Kangaroo to drop its Sack. Collecting this results in obtaining a K Shard, and after collecting three of these, you’ll be rewarded with the K Medal. Now you can proceed to the room to the left of the bat chamber in the top left corner of the map and insert the medal into the circular recess there. This action unlocks a secret pathway, leading to a chest containing the Bouncy Ball.

Unlocking the UV Lantern (Using the E Medal)

By lighting all nine candles in Animal Well, you will unlock a secret passageway on the left side of the beaver warproom. Interacting with the fish head statue in this area will transport you to a chamber with a crank hidden behind spikes. Operating the crank raises a platform with a red chest out of the water on the left. This chest contains the E Medal, which you will take to a hidden chamber near the Seahorse boss encounter. Upon exiting the B.Flame room to the right, you should climb atop the fish head statue and proceed through the wall above it.

This leads to an area with another circular recess where you can insert the E Medal, unlocking a pathway to an underwater area. Progressing downward and playing the Animal Flute near the organ summons a skeletal fish that blows bubbles. Mimicking the direction of these bubbles by playing notes on the flute freezes the fish in place. You can then enter its mouth, accessing a secret part of the warp room with a chest containing the UV Lantern.

If you’re struggling with the skeletal fish, you can alternatively play notes on the jellyfish in the underwater area above it to warp directly to the chest containing the UV Lantern. The sequence of notes required for this warp is Right, Up, Left, Down, Left, Down, Left, Down, which can be played after obtaining the Animal Flute.
