Marvel’s Spider-Man 2 update 1.001.003 has arrived, and here are all the changes and improvements mentioned in the patch notes. Insomniac has made a hit with the recent Marvel’s Spider-Man 2 game, but things have not been going as smoothly as planned. With only a week since the release of the new Spider-Man 2 game, there have been reports upon reports of bugs. Some related to the cut scenes, audio, and subtitles not synching, some related to models not loading properly after grinding the game for some time, and some that got stuck inside the PlayStation 5.
The flag inside Miles Morales’ home is one of the most controversial issues that Insomniac seemed to have overlooked. Miles Morales is of Puerto Rican origin, but the flag displayed inside his house was the Cuban flag. Insomniac has quickly catered to this issue and has published an apology along with the patch notes. Their statement was; “Today’s patch corrects an error where the Cuban flag was incorrectly displayed instead of the Puerto Rican flag. We understand that accurate representation matters, and greatly regret this error. We sincerely apologize and will do better in the future”.
Additionally, there have been some speculations of new DLCs for the new Marvel’s Spider-Man 2. Although Insomniac has yet to confirm anything, and they will most likely be mostly updating the game to fix the countless issues that pop up here and there, the devs might make some additions to the core game like long-requested suits since the original Marvel’s Spider-Man.
