Metaphor: ReFantazio Royal Virtues Priority
Royal Virtues are your secondary stats. While your main stats are for battles, these secondary stats affect the progression of your follower bonds. Here are the five Metaphor: ReFantazio Royal Virtues priority stats you need to develop:
- Courage
- Wisdom
- Tolerance
- Eloquence
- Imagination
As long as you manage your time well and don’t spend too long in dungeons, you should be able to develop all five. However, if you want to know which Royal Virtues to prioritize, it depends on your goals.
At the start of the game, it’s a good idea to develop Eloquence first because you need to reach Level 2 to start Brigitta’s bond. She is one of the first followers you can obtain besides the party members. After that, check which follower bonds require certain levels of Royal Virtues to progress.

It is best to put Courage as your last Metaphor: ReFantazio Royal Virtues priority since you can gain a lot from completing Bounty missions. The Royal Virtue linked to the most follower bonds is Imagination, so you might want to level that one up first. However, prioritizing party members is also important because you want to upgrade their bond rank so they can gain EXP while off-field. In that case, Wisdom and Eloquence should be your secondary priorities.
