The PlayStation Plus August game removals include nine titles, and yes, Dead Island 2 is on the list. If you’ve been meaning to check it out, now’s your chance before it disappears.
If you’re a PlayStation Plus subscriber, you already know the drill: new games arrive in the Game Catalog and Classics Catalog every month, but that also means some titles have to leave to make room. The latest batch of games set to leave has just been revealed on the PlayStation Store.
This new list confirms that nine games are on their way out. Originally, five of these were set to leave in July, but there’s some good news; they’ve been pushed back and will now stick around until August. You have until August 18th to play those five. As for the other four, there’s no official removal date yet, but expect them to leave when the next wave of games arrives in the Game Catalog and Classics Catalog.
If you’re into zombie apocalypses, Dead Island 2 is one you won’t want to miss before it’s gone. The game drops you into some of Los Angeles’ most iconic spots for some pretty violent zombie slaying. Expect plenty of gore, creative weapons, and a mod system that lets you get even more inventive with your zombie takedowns. With less than a month left, now’s the perfect time to jump in and see what the hype is about.
