Annapurna Interactive, the well-known indie publisher, has revealed that five of its titles are heading to the Nintendo Switch 2. Three will arrive as next-gen upgrades, while two are making their Nintendo debut. Starting today, Sayonara Wild Hearts and Lorelei and the Laser Eyes are available on Switch 2, both upgraded with 120Hz and 4K support. New players can pick up Sayonara Wild Hearts for $13, while Lorelei and the Laser Eyes is priced at $25.
If you already own either game on Switch, the upgrade comes at no extra cost. Sayonara Wild Hearts also introduces the Remix Arcade mode, letting you chase high scores with faster gameplay and no loading screens.
Annapurna Interactive Games Lineup Grows With Stray, To a T, And Wanderstop
On May 28, the third-person cat adventure Stray lands on Switch 2, complete with sharper 4K visuals, a smoother frame rate, and even mouse controls to match its feline protagonist. The digital version will be available on the eShop for $30. However, it’s still uncertain if existing Switch owners will get a free upgrade. Stray was originally released as a PS5 exclusive and was an immediate hit, receiving Best Indie Game and Best Debut at the 23rd Game Developers Choice Awards.
To a T, the quirky puzzle-adventure from Katamari creator Keita Takahashi finally makes its way to Switch 2 on June 11 as a digital-only release for $20. Then, on June 23, the cozy narrative game Wanderstop launches on both Switch and Switch 2 for $25. There’s still no confirmation of a physical edition.
Annapurna Interactive has brought many of its games to Switch, and it looks like that will continue with Switch 2, with more of its games on the way. Earlier this month, the studio launched the turn-based musical RPG People of Note on Switch 2, with Mixtape still set to arrive on May 7.
