In Act 2, you can explore more areas of the Arlathan Forest. The game marks the general locations you need to visit to complete the “Spirits of the Dalish” quest. However, finding the corpses can be tricky because they blend into the environment. Let’s get started with our Dragon Age The Veilguard Spirits of the Dalish walkthrough. Here are the locations you need to visit:
Ruins Reach
The first corpse is in the Ruins Reach area. Watch out for falling rocks that can harm you. Keep moving and avoid standing in the red circles that appear. The first corpse is under a large boulder on the southern side of the marked area. This person died after wandering into the zone at night and being crushed by a boulder.
Shadowy Grove
The second corpse is on the southern side of the Shadowy Grove. Be cautious, as many monsters and automatons roam here. Look for the item on top of a boulder near the wall. The Blood Splattered Journal tells of someone dreaming of becoming one with the earth, possibly transformed into trees by dark magic.
The third corpse is also in the Shadowy Grove. Head to the eastern area to find a broken mirror in a corner. Clear out nearby monsters before investigating. The Ripped Page reveals more about the Dalish clan, who found an Eluvian mirror that corrupted them after they tampered with it.
Ancient Aqueduct
The fourth corpse is in the Ancient Aqueduct. You will find an owl statue here, but be careful, as it summons monsters. Jump into the burned boat to examine the remains of the Dalish clan.
The final corpse is also in the Ancient Aqueduct. Head north and follow the river until you find a tear in reality. Stand close to the bright light until it is about to explode. When the red circle appears, jump back to avoid the blast. The explosion will reveal the corpses of the Dalish clan members.
How To Perform the Rite in Spirits of the Dalish Quest
After uncovering the tragic fate of the Dalish clan, the spirit is still not at peace. A party member will suggest helping the spirit move on to prevent it from becoming a demon. Fortunately, you don’t have to go far to perform the rite.
Once you’re done with the Dragon Age The Veilguard Spirits of the Dalish walkthrough, walk up the slope behind the owl statue. Use Harding’s ability to move the resonant slab and open the path. You will find a broken device that Bellara can fix. This will open a portal that you can jump into to reach the ritual area.
