While you can get carrots from a Walmart or Costco, there aren’t any grocery stores in developer miHoYo’s RPG, so you need specific carrot locations in Genshin Impact. In the world of Teyvat, you can find many different plants as you explore. While some of these are unique to the game like the Spinel Fruit, and Jueyun Chili, others, like carrots, are surprisingly rare.

The best place to gather carrots in Genshin Impact is Mondstadt, the starting region. Here, you can easily collect a bunch of carrots in the Springvale area. Other good spots in Mondstadt include:

In Liyue, carrots are harder to find, but you can still locate some. Look on the northeast side of Jueyun Karst. There are also a few carrots near the Statue of Seven, north of Liyue Harbor.

Another place to find carrots is the abandoned settlement of Koseki Village, located in the northwest part of Seirai Island. Be cautious when exploring this area because of the strong electricity in the air, which you can only clear by completing a long side quest.

If you prefer buying carrots instead of searching for them, you can visit Chef Mao’s shop. Chef Mao is Xiangling’s father, and his shop is in Liyue Harbor. He sells ten carrots every three days.
