Once you’re in the game, the first thing you’ll want to do is begin the Season 7 questline. This questline is automatically added to your quest log when you log in, so check your quests and set it as your main objective.
The questline will lead you to Gelena, a new NPC located in Gea Kul, near the waypoint. Speak to her to get started.
Hunt for the Enraged Headless Husk
Gelena will ask for your help in finding a head that belongs on the Tree of Whispers. Follow the map marker to the Whispering Root and the Overgrown Door, which will lead you to the Overgrown Tenement.
Inside, you’ll face off against the Enraged Headless Husk, a challenging enemy. Defeat it to progress the quest.
Visit the Tree of Whispers
After defeating the Husk, return to Gelena at the Tree of Whispers. She’ll guide you to the Coven’s Favor Board, located near the tree. Interact with the board and unlock the first tier of Witchcraft Powers by selecting Restless Rot.
You’ll also receive a cache as a reward. Take your Restless Rot to one of the Altars of Witchcraft, which are located near the Tree of Whispers. At the altar, you can purchase and equip your first Witchcraft Power.
You can also manage your Witchcraft Powers from your inventory. There’s a special tab in the inventory menu where you can equip or swap out powers as needed.
