Heart of Chornobyl has a lot of fun side quests like Chasing Ghosts and Dead Frequency. However, completing the latter activates a new quest called Like a Moth to a Flame in Stalker 2. This quest begins after you reach Camp Icarus during the Dead Frequency mission. In this quest, you must choose between siding with Kryvenko or Senkevych. Both choices will move the story forward, but one path is easier. You also need to find three psi-antennas around the base.
Although the game marks their locations, they can be hard to spot because they blend in with their surroundings. Here is a quick guide on how to complete Like a Moth to a Flame in Stalker 2.
How to Complete Like a Moth to a Flame in Stalker 2
When you arrive at Camp Icarus and enter the main building, you will find Dr. Kryvenko and Captain Senkevych in a heated argument. If you talk to Senkevych, he will accuse Kryvenko of wrongdoing and ask you to destroy three psi-antennas. Kryvenko, on the other hand, will ask you to transfer data from the three devices to a USB stick.
For a quicker path, it’s best to side with Dr. Kryvenko in the “Like a Moth to a Flame” quest. This choice only requires you to find the three psi-antennas. Choosing Senkevych will add more tasks to complete later.
Where to Find the Three Psi-Antennas
- First Psi-Antenna: Located in the southwestern part of Camp Icarus. You don’t need to enter the locked and guarded building. Instead, go to the right side of the building where soldiers are near sandbags. The psi-antenna is right next to them.
- Second Psi-Antenna: Found on a tall tower in the northeastern area. The structure is falling apart, so you’ll need to do some platforming to reach the ladders. At the top, you’ll find a soldier and the device.
- Third Psi-Antenna: This one is the hardest to find. Keep heading northeast until you see a small building. There will be a zombie nearby that you need to defeat. The device is on the roof, and you must climb one of the large pipes to reach it.
How to Explore the Saturn Bunker Area
After collecting the data, return it to Dr. Kryvenko. He will reveal the source of the psi-attack in Camp Icarus. You need to enter the locked area to continue the “Like a Moth to a Flame” quest.
- Enter through the door with a soldier standing beside it.
- Open the silver door that is lit up.
- Go downstairs and climb down the ladder.
- Avoid the lightning anomaly and enter the door on your right.
- Pass through the hallway to reach the psi-beacon.
If you are working with Dr. Kryvenko, you need to turn off the device. If you choose to follow Captain Senkevych’s path, you must destroy the psi-beacon. Note that there is a bug here where you can only destroy the device with a knife, not a gun. Once you report back to the doctor, the “Like a Moth to a Flame” in Stalker 2 will end, and you can continue with the “Dead Frequency” mission.
