Bandai Namco just announced the return of Hwoarang to Tekken 8. Bandai had been revealing characters for the game roster slowly, but then they became dormant back in April after the reveal of Lili. Of course, it did not mean that it was the end for the Tekken 8 roster reveal just yet. Bandai is now back to revealing more characters, with its most recent entry being Hwoarang.
It's time to kick it up a notch.

The New Addition To Tekken 8 – Hwoarang
Hwoarang was first released in Tekken 3 and instantly became one of the fan’s favorites. Ever since then, he has made an appearance in every Tekken game. He uses his kick with techniques of Taekwondo. His reveal trailer for Tekken 8 shows Hwoarang sporting a new look, which many people have become a fan of. Although he has received a bit of criticism for magically having his eye fixed as he used to wear an eyepatch in the previous Tekken games.
With how the story is currently set until Tekken 7, the prequel to Tekken 8 will likely play a part in the main story for Hwoarang. Especially looking at the fact that we see him entering battles and exiting them on a motorcycle, a bit too much like Juri from Street Fighter 6.
For newcomers, Tekken 8 is a 3D fighting game that is being developed by both Bandai Namco Studios and Arika. No release date has been announced yet but fret not, because it will probably be revealed sometime soon. It is to be launched for PC, PS5, and Xbox Series X|S, although the platforms might change. You can check for more details on the Tekken 8 Official Website.
Tekken 8 has a lot of hype from fans of the Tekken series. Similarly, Legend of Zelda: Tears Of The Kingdom also had a lot of hype and reviews gave it a lot of love. If you’re into Genshin Impact, check out the latest leaks here.
