If you’re tired of farming Neural Sensors or perfecting your Koumei build in Warframe, then you’ll be happy to know that Digital Extremes is inviting players to join the Soulframe prelude testing. Soulframe, the fantasy sibling of Warframe, had a mixed reception when it was first revealed at the 2024 TennoCon. Many players were concerned about the combat and animation for Digital Extremes’ new free-to-play MMORPG. However, the developers are now allowing up to 10,000 new players each week to join the development process.

Soulframe Prelude Testing Details
The announcement about the Soulframe prelude came from the game’s main forum. Sarah Asselin, the Community Manager at Digital Extremes, shared an invitation for players to join the Soulframe prelude. Each week, 2,000 players will be selected to participate. Additionally, each of these players will receive four Soulframe codes to share with friends, potentially increasing the number of participants to 10,000 weekly.

Welcome, brave soul, to the Isle of Midrath. By invitation or by chance, you’ve been called to join us in the Soulframe Preludes—a place still forming, with echoes of what is still to come. Each week, 2,000 Envoys who have signed up on soulframe.com are welcomed into Preludes. With each invite email comes an additional four (4) invitation codes to share.
It’s not clear how duplicate invites will be handled or what happens if a player receives multiple codes. Despite these uncertainties, it’s important to note that Soulframe is still in development and not yet a complete game. The prelude might serve as a network stress test, given the large number of players they plan to include.
How to Join Soulframe Preludes
To join the Soulframe preludes, you can either ask friends if they have received an invitation from Digital Extremes or sign up yourself to increase your chances. Here’s how you can get involved:
- Sign Up: Visit the Soulframe website and sign up to be considered for the Prelude testing.
- Redeem a Code: If a friend shares a Soulframe code with you, you can redeem it on the website. You will need to sign in first to access the preludes.
